Bees are responsible for pollination of about 90% of all flora on the planet. Birds, bats and insects also do pollination, but no one is as effective at this as bees. Without them, there would be a drastic drop in the amount of vegetables available in the world. The herbivorous animals would die, just as probably many of us would die.
